"Places We've Called Home" Exhibit Planning Continues

Model of the new Exhibit in the Winship Gallery

Planning for the Heritage Museum's new temporary exhibit continued with a presentation to the Museum Planning Committee on Feb. 13th.  Here's a photo of the new working exhibit model that was just completed by Ronni Komarow. It shows 3 period rooms (farmhouse  c.1780-1820), Victorian ( c. 1900) and Three Decker (c. 1915). A 4th station will deal with post 1950's housing.  The next planning meeting is March 19th at 6:15 pm at the Brighton Library. The projected opening for the new exhibit is June 23rd and will run through April, 2013.

The exhibition explores the social and architectural history of housing change and the interpretation of that change in Brighton and beyond.

i thank ronnie for her creative idea and work, my only question is; how long would a visitor need to look at the entire exhibit.

Will there be more home artifacts, costumes of the times, and pictures
